The AR3T Mini Regenerative Rehabilitation Career Development Award is designed to support junior faculty with the goal of refining novel Regenerative Rehabilitation grant submissions and/or successful re-submissions.
Overview: The award will provide six months of partial salary support for the junior investigator. Awardees will be paired with a mentor from one of over twenty AR3T researchers whose area(s) of expertise complements the recipient’s area of research. For example, a rehabilitation researcher will be paired with a regenerative medicine expert from AR3T and a stem cell researcher will be paired with an AR3T researcher with expertise with rehabilitation protocols.
- Up to $51,000 total costs will be provided to the junior investigator as salary support for up to 75% effort or $8,500/month (whichever is smaller) to support mentoring within an innovative line of Regenerative Rehabilitation research for a period of up to 6 months at their home institution.
- The junior investigator will be paired with an AR3T investigator with expertise in an area complementary to the applicant, who will then act as a mentor for the duration.
- Additional funds up to $1,000 will be available to support travel expenses to attend the Symposium on Regenerative Rehabilitation during the same year as the mentoring opportunity.
